Who can be a Big?

Being a Big Brother or Big Sister means being a friend to a child.  It does not matter what you do for a living, if you’re a great athlete, or a terrible speller, what matters is you are willing to have fun and share experiences with a child.  Bigs come from a variety of backgrounds and have many different interests.  The simple everyday experiences can make an amazing impact on the lives of both Bigs and Littles.  All it takes is “Little Moments” of your time to create “Big Magic”.

What are the time commitments?

Each Big is asked to see their Little for a minimum of 2-4 hours per month for at least one year.  Bigs and Littles have the flexibility to design a schedule that works best for them.

Why?

Because studies show that children do benefit from spending time with their Bigs, and Bigs have told us that they have just as much fun as their Littles!
